{"id":356,"date":"2014-01-14T19:35:57","date_gmt":"2014-01-14T19:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.joystuckinthepast.com\/?p=356"},"modified":"2024-06-26T18:23:21","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T18:23:21","slug":"week-gaming-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joystuckinthepast.com\/index.php\/2014\/01\/14\/week-gaming-2\/","title":{"rendered":"This week in Gaming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well this week was less gamey than I expected mainly due to hitting this blog repeatedly trying to fix the white screen of death.<\/p>\n<h2>Wednesday 8th January 2014<\/h2>\n<p>It was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/443908612339655\/\">Cerberus games night<\/a> and I got through some games of Braggart, No Thanks!, Love Letter and Zombie Fluxx.<\/p>\n<h2>Thursday 9th January 2014<\/h2>\n<p>Constructed Standard Magic at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/highlandergames\/\">Highlander<\/a>. After doing really well with my deck before Christmas I got a run of bad luck, total mana screw and ended up 2-2. Won mirror. Lost mirror against Ferg 2-1 (final game we were both at 1 life top-decking). Lost 2-1 to white wheenie after forgetting about their pro-colour spell and not killing something when he was tapped out. Final game against Colin though was hilarious. He mulled to 5 and I had 2 Thoughtseize in hand. I kindly left him a Rakdos and nothing to hurt me with. Totally pumped up for next season now, again.<\/p>\n<h2>Sunday 12th January 2014<\/h2>\n<p>Read <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Saga_%28comic_book%29\"><cite>Saga<\/cite><\/a> volume 1, fantastic wee graphic novel from Alzo.
